RHYS gallery was founded in 2004, generally featuring emerging artists, and independently curated exhibitions. In 2008 RHYS gallery joined with the MENDES group located in Brasil, to bring it's artists and projects to a global audience and to create a further dialogue between Brazilian and American artists. In November 2008, RHYSMENDES will launch it's new 10,000 square foot warehouse in Brasil dedicated to site specific installations and video projects, as well as providing an artist residency program contained inside the gallery.
